Bendigo Creative Therapies

Creative and playful therapy for the young and young at heart

Bendigo Creative Therapies recognizes the Dja Dja Wurrung and Taungurung people as the traditional owners of the land on which we play, create, and inquire.

We pay respect to elders past, present, and emerging and acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their strong living culture & their unique role in life across the nation.

We express gratitude in the sharing of this land, sorrow for the personal, spiritual and cultural costs of that sharing, and hope that we may walk forward together in harmony and in the spirit of healing.

We recognize this land was never ceded and always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

We welcome people of all ages, races, ethnicities, religions, genders, sexual orientations, and abilities.

Play, create, move and more, to inquire into your inner worlds, develop a deeper sense of self, and build stronger connections to self, others, and the world around.

Trauma limits our capacity to see ourselves as we truly are. Playful and creative therapies can strengthen our sense of self, and support healing. EMDR can reduce distress caused by traumatic memories. Integrating art and play with EMDR can increase capacity for joy and connection.
